MoodBloom.GS is a web XR wellness experience that transforms London's iconic riverside Bernie Spain Community Garden into a responsive garden environment.

MoodBloom.GS was inspired by Gaussian splats' unique ability to capture environments under different weather conditions, which we applied to Bernie Spain Garden in London to create therapeutic experiences that help urban communities connect with nature in new ways.

Using Gaussian Splat technology and webXR, users explore a space where lighting and weather conditions evolve — from clouds and rain to sunrise and full sun — changing both the atmosphere and the virtual elements around them.

As the experience progresses:

☁️ It begins with a quiet, cloudy garden — empty and calm
🌧️ Rain triggers the appearance of seedlings and sprouts
🌤️ A sunrise brings partial tulip blooms
☀️ Under clear sunny skies, the garden becomes fully alive with color

After reaching full bloom, users can choose from three interactive moods:

🌇 Sunset – Ladybugs appear on the tree
🌧️ Rainy – Dragonflies glide through the mist
☀️ Sunny – Butterflies fill the air with movement

Soft ambient sounds accompany each moment — from the gentle patter of rain to the warm, soothing tones of a sunny day — enhancing relaxation and immersion.
